Fantastic Five Ideas

Here I should have outlined 5 different ideas for each topic. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, the only thing that came to my mind was OCEANIC. So I just sketched an idea of how I could more or less make my sculptures. The colors will obviously be more subdued, though I'm still wondering. The sketches do not reflect what they are supposed to look like in reality. I'll try not to look too childish, but using a large palette of colors it can be difficult. I will try to make a mosaic myself and get it from clay or ceramic mass. I'll paint it, wait for it to dry and break it into tiny pieces. I am also thinking about adding, for example, waves, stones or sea corals as a base or an additional marine accent.

  1. Ok, but consider how you might use some of the forms you have drawn in a different way instead of just making sculptures of animals! What would happen if you abstracted some of the shapes you have drawn (from the octopus for example) and created another set of drawings that were less recognisable as animals and became more about sculptural forms. i think it is important to challenge yourself with another set of drawings and then consider which materials would suit those forms.
