Welcome Message

 Good to see You again!!!

Welcome to the last summer term of my study at DMUIC. For the last 2 terms of very intensive learning, I have become more sure of what Fine Art is for me and that it is a path that I still want to follow. Everything I have learned now requires polishing and development, and the most important thing is that I know how I can continue to deepen my knowledge and skills on my own. I'm a little sad that my adventure at the zero year will end soon, but I'm happy with how much I learn here and how well the teachers prepare us so that we can confidently enter a real university life. During this period, I would like to deepen and improve the acquired skills as well as improve what is still a challenge for me. In order to be successful at my bachelor's degree, I need to become a more independent student and artist. Since this time the main project on the Art Portfolio module are 3D works (my favorite๐Ÿ˜) I must focus on the systematics of work and study, delve into research, reflections and improve the ability to document my development and progress. It promises to be hard but rewarding work...

During the mid-term break I had time to finally visit  Abbey Park in Leicester which is 300 meters from my flat. Spring is coming and everything is starting to turn green and bloom beautifully. There are squirrels running on every tree and birds singing everywhere. As always, nature encourages me to deep reflections and thoughts and strikes as my inspiration in many projects. Below you can see some of my photos from this beautiful place.

  1. Does this garden remind you of anywhere? It reminds me of Claude Monet's garden at Giverny where he worked for the last years of his life and created some incredible ground breaking work. Link here: https://www.claude-monet.com/the-artists-garden-at-giverny.jsp

Add an image of his work and talk about comparisons with your photographs.
