Project Aims and Objectives:
For my Major Project, I chose Oceanic and my goal is to create 5 abstracted 3D sculptures based on Marine Animal and monster forms. I will accomplish this by experimentation with mosaic techniques and tools. I will also take inspiration from artists relevant to my project such as Ernst Haeckel and Peter Gentenaar.
The project will consist of 5 3D outcomes and I will make them from clay, paper mass, salt mass or ceramic mass and create structures with handmade plaster/modroc, wire or clay mosaic.
I will use reachable materials and I will try to make them of the right size, i.e. not too big to be able to make it in the given time. I will present the work as a gallery on my website.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
For my project, I chose a theme Oceanic because I love that connection with nature. Also as a Fine artist making sculptures is close to my heart. I can fully express myself through this project.
MEASURABLE METHODS
The project will consist of 5 3D versions and I will make them from the clay, paper mass, salt mass or ceramic mass, and and try to get a handmade plaster or clay mosaic.
HAVE TO BE REACHABLE
I will use reachable materials and I will try to make them of the right size, i.e. not too big to be able to make it in the given time.
MUST BE RELEVANT
My progression rout i Fine Art, so creating a sculpture with the addition of a mosaic is adequate.
HAVE TO BE BOUND IN TIME
I need at least one week to make a 3D project completed.

Your SMART would benefit from a better purpose to your project. You say you are using the theme because of a connection to nature. This is not a strong reason or purpose for making a project like this. It reads as if you are going to make a project which is just a collection of sea animals. Consider the message of making a body of work of this nature - what is the meaning of doing this? Are you going to highlight an environmental issue? Or could this be a project that combines human and marine forms? Have a look at the work of Huang Yong Ping for reference (here: https://plainmagazine.com/chinese-artist-huang-yong-ping-gigantic-octopus-sculpture/) to creating marine forms and Vanessa da Silva, a recent graduate from the RCA, link here: https://www.artsy.net/artist/vanessa-da-silva for creating organic human forms.
