From last week to today's classes we had time to prepare powerpoint presentations to show our classmates how working on our project looks like so far. I am generally very shy and very stressed when I have to do something or present in front of a large group of people. Even in the smaller it is a problem but slightly less. luckily today we were in groups of four and the stress wasn't that big. My group members were Antria Theodourou, Joanna Siewiera i Salman Almutairi. Then each of us had to fill in a feedback form prepared by the teacher about our progress and the general outline of our project. The questions mainly concerned what progress has already been made, what artists we have already seen, what new skills and knowledge we have acquired, what is left for us to do and whether we will make it to the deadline.
It was a really nice presentation in a nice atmosphere. In fact, thanks to this, I realized how much work I still have to do with the project and what I still need to improve.
I also really enjoyed being able to see how others work on their projects. Even from classmates you can learn a lot and learn from their experience. I am also very curious how their final projects will look like, especially that each of them has a different subject area than me.
My group member gave me very constructive feedback about my project so far. I did some research about Tracey Emin and her work relate to my project but I need to research other artists to find how they using colours in their work to show emotions, feelings and straggles.
Here you can see the feedback I received:
Would be good to see how you are going to use this feedback. There is a definite lack of updates on this blog, Agata, and little evidence of what you are actually making this term. Please start posting the work you are in progress with as well as further research into other artists that are relevant to your project as soon as possible.
